Jim Love, the councilman that Stephen and others enjoy throwing under the bus, contacted Angela Corey and the Westside Zone Commander to get the facts on the shooting and he plans on holding meetings with residents to help clean up the Fat Kat.

You can send mail all you want to the owner, but he'll probably use it to wipe. You need to get government involved if you want to see real results.

What shocks me is that there are 200 people there and no one knows who fired the shots? Uh, yeah, right.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

Another hit to the strides Murray Hill has made to clean up.  Just saw a news blurb that owners want to reopen FatKat.  I think a peaceful protest would be for the whole neighborhood to park their cars down at first block, up and down Edgewood, and around in the Jones College lot.

That place is like herpes.

I'll get my pitch fork and torch. I don't want that place to reopen in my neighborhood. It's ruining that strip...

Reconnected with an Edgewood Business person" we traveled to a not too distant, excellent lunch spot (I was so happily impressed  :)) some kind of obvious group/land owner effort, possibly related to a business just yonder across that street) the after lunch short drive (yep,we were in Vehicle) obviously taylored to immediate neighborhood maneuver/surveillance -and as a former resident of the place,I would say: Good Call
