Another elevated transit system is not what jax needs in my opinion.  They are expensive, take up a huge amount of real estate and end up being eyesores like the one currently downtown which doesnt really efficiently serve its purpose.  The L works and fits in well in chicago but jax and chicago are totally different cities and are not comparible.  On the subject of transit, i think light rail or a streetcar system are options better suited for jax, eventually.

The old Flowers by Pat space in Murray Hill is supposed to be a wine bar. Should be cool.

Walked by Corrado's on Lomax this afternoon, and they were OPEN!!!!! Today is the first of a two day soft opening. The place looked good with patio furniture out front and customers inside.

But with Corrado's and Pulp both open for business, who will stand in for whipping boy now?

I'm actually really surprised they are a legit business.
Looking forward to trying it, now.
