LOL, at today's post. Time to toss a grenade into the mix, since I talk trash win or lose. Like the Ducks, FSU will piss all over themselves before winning another NC. It's only a matter of time.

First, if you're putting money down, take Miami because FSU will not cover that spread (even if I'm wrong on my outright winner prediction below).

Now for my prediction. Some Seminole fans (and players) will wet their panties once they realize FSU will be involved in a real fight for this game. This should happen midway through the 3rd quarter.  We'll have a close game on our hands and we'll have a choke at Doak because one team hasn't been challenged late the entire season. On the other hand, the team that invented swagger also knows how to man up in adverse situations.

Miami 31, FSU 28!

By all means, keep making predictions Ennis!

It's worked out well for us so far :D

thelakelander

Don't worry.  I may have mixed the weeks up.  That prediction can very much still happen!

QuoteFSU in good and bad times have a hard time selling out, sans UF and UM.

Being a season ticket holder since I graduated, there haven't been many games in which the stadium was empty since the Chris Rix era was ushered in... except for the BS games like Savannah State, etc.  That's no different than Florida.  I went to the UF/Kentucky game last year and it was about the same crowd as Duke/FSU of the same year.  I can't compare FSU/Savannah State to UF/Bowling Green... but from friends that were in Gainesville, they said the crowd at Ben Hill Griffin was particularly poor. Don't be so quick to throw stones.

That said... it's pretty awesome when Florida fans are grasping at straws arguing about attendance as the Noles march down the warpath to Pasadena :)

Mike - you will be a great politician one day.  A great mediator bridging the gap.

Good luck marching to a slaughter in Pasadena.   :o

So who will it be?  Wake, Syracuse, Florida or Miami in the ACC championship game.  We all know losing and Jimbo Fisher go together like white on rice.

Don't sleep on Idaho. They are no Wake or Syracuse, but potentially dangerous.

To be honest, I'm most worried about Duke in the ACC Title Game. Please knock them off so we don't have to face them. We caught a big break not having them on the schedule this year.

Lake,  now that Duke is out are you sure Miami isn't going to institute a post season ban to avoid the ACCCG & two losses to FSU just like they did last year?

Love me some Ennis Davis  --- always hate tha U

thelakelander

Nope.  No one is afraid of the Tallahassee Female Academy. Canes don't take teams off their schedule when those teams get too competitive. ;) That was a precautionary move to avoid stiffer NCAA penalties on future seasons and it worked.  Now that Duke is gone, it's all about Dallas Crawford and sending FSU a bowl full of Georgia peaches for Christmas.

^ doubt it...if Miami makes it to the ACC title game and beats FSU, the Noles will likely still get a BCS bowl...now unfortunately for Miami, if they lose, Clemson will get the extra BCS nod ahead of them.

Who did James K. Polk beat to become the 11th President of the US?  Exactly......who cares? Coming in second is just as good as coming in 10th.  Canes time will come soon.  FSU better get their's before the door closes.  Unfortunately, history suggests that Jimbo will eventually trip over his own two feet before crossing the finish line.

Big game coming up this weekend. Al Golden is trying to stay above a .500 career record.

Canes win one nearly every other year or two.  Even with most of the down seasons.  Even UF was considered a big win early in the season before half their team ended up in the infirmary ward. The difference has been for every big win they've been followed by puzzling loses to schools like Wake, North Carolina and Virginia.  However, this isn't anything that Jimbo and his crew aren't experienced with. It's not like FSU has been dominating the college ranks over the last decade.
