I know I didn't talk any smack when my team sucked and I sure as crap didn't to my UF friends. I also don't talk trash to them now, because i know how much it sucks...but you're just asking for it.

CL you must be in the minority, because I never heard the end of it from my FSU friends.  Always chirping when someone could beat us when they couldn't.  Always chirping about "Urban Liar" or Tebow is a crybaby etc.   

When it comes to the in-state rivalries its hard not to defend your team.  I can dish it out and I can take it.

FSU in good and bad times have a hard time selling out, sans UF and UM.   

Of the top 10 highest attended games at Doak (all above capacity), only 5 are UF and UM. Last year both Clemson and BC games were sellouts.

I guess every social group is different. My longtime UF friends and I will talk college football and about each others teams, but we avoid the trash talk. Kinda like avoiding debates about politics and religion.

Sure...10-4 season in 2010....maybe this was the Sanford game on September 4th (59-6)...how was the UF crowd for the noon game on August 31 of this year against Toledo?

and while we're at it, why is your game against Vandy tomorrow on ESPN3 (not TV) and FSN Florida...while FSU @ Wake Forest is on ABC?

As long as we are rapping attendance, I guess it's probably worth pointing out that, for all the talk about Jacksonville being Gator central, the two largest crowds in Everbank history were both for the Seminoles (84,129 for Bobby's last game, and 85,413 (!!!) against Alabama in 2007).

Being a season ticket holder since I graduated, there haven't been many games in which the stadium was empty since the Chris Rix era was ushered in... except for the BS games like Savannah State, etc.  That's no different than Florida.  I went to the UF/Kentucky game last year and it was about the same crowd as Duke/FSU of the same year.  I can't compare FSU/Savannah State to UF/Bowling Green... but from friends that were in Gainesville, they said the crowd at Ben Hill Griffin was particularly poor. Don't be so quick to throw stones.

That said... it's pretty awesome when Florida fans are grasping at straws arguing about attendance as the Noles march down the warpath to Pasadena
