Loved the one in Tallahassee on Tennessee Street.

Hope they don't close it :)

umm..that one closed more then 3 years ago....it has since been two other sports bar type places

just fyi.  Im pretty sure that 'loved' is the past tense of the verb 'to love'.

thanks..much appreciated

I've never gotten the appeal of the place.  Don't carry any craft beer (in fact, make fun of craft beer in commercials) and the wings are average at best.

^^^Are you that picky of a beer drinker that your wing bar beer has to be a craft beer? I never saw a BWW commercial making fun of craft beer. IMO their wings are really good. I usually order a half & half parmesan & garlic and hot wings, man they are good. It seems like a very common B-Dub complaint are their no gun policy (cops); I say to that they can do whatever they want to do, it's their business.

I know which commercial they're talking about. It's the one where the guy invites his friends over and he's got open containers of home brewed beer laying around the living room with sausages in it. Love that one! The one with the crying babies everywhere is even better.

I dig BW3s, always loved their variety of flavors on the boneless wings. That Baymeadows location was getting pretty dumpy towards the end.

My pleasure, tufsu.  Ive often found that snippy smugness is often a cover for grammatical misunderstandings.  Always glad to clear it up!

well given that I understood from ken's post that he hadn't been in Tally in a while, I guess what you're saying is that your pithy response was a cover for misunderstanding my post?

yes I am.  If I'm going out, I prefer to have what I like.

This is the commercial. The premise is homebrewed beer is in some way worse than the yellowy macro stuff these two gentlemen seem to prefer:

Like fsquid, I suppose I'm a picky enough beer drinker that I'd rather have beer I enjoy. However, this sounds like a positive development for the mall.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

It is a pretty cool place to watch sports- food and beer selection is pretty basic.  I wish a decent sports bar would open up in Riverside (or at least a bar that buys the sports packages).  I've been over to Lillians a few times to watch MLB games.

FSBA

I don't think the commercial was intended to bash craft beer. I enjoy a Bold City 1901 as much as the next guy but Bud Light is still king amongst consumers.
I support meaningless jingoistic cliches

I miss the Morrisons there, when I worked at Parisian used to go there for lunch almost every Saturday.

I miss Parisians...  IMO, I think allowing Forever 21 to go in that space is a complete waste of an opportunity.

I've never been in Forever 21. How is it?  Does it seem like a traditional department store or is it just a larger version of the stuff they carry in their specialty stores?

it's like a weird hybrid of both; i mean, there's a mens department and a kids department but 90% of the store is just a larger version of what they carry in their normal stores.  I just feel it's too big a store to service one demographic and I feel the rest of the mall is going in that direction.  If you think about it, Forever 21, Papaya, H&M, Delia's, Cotton On, and according to their website, A'Gaci all sell literally the same thing just under a different label.  It's getting kind of boring in the Avenues.

Forever 21 has men's clothes?  I always thought they only had stuff for teenage girls.

ProjectMaximus

Yeah, it's just an enormous version of their traditional stores tailored to young women + a few tiny sections of other stuff. I don't think it's that different from their other really large stores in other cities though...those always have small sections carrying other stuff.
