This location isn't too far the Baymeadows site they closed a few years back.

QuoteBuffalo Wild Wings, which has restaurants in North Jacksonville and in Orange Park, plans to open in December in The Avenues mall in space formerly occupied by Morrison's.

Regional Marketing Manager Randy Groover, based in Atlanta, said Tuesday it will be the third company-owned location in the area.

Is it just me or was this pointless? You close one and open on up literally around the corner? Maybe the lease is cheaper in the mall?

I really like this.

Should be a great addition to the Avenues.

The one in Baymeadows was a dump located in a strip mall.  I think they are moving more towards stand alone restaurants.

The one on Baymeadows was a franchise location. They are closing those all over the country. The new ones are corporate owned.

Loved the one in Tallahassee on Tennessee Street.

Hope they don't close it :)

Yeah, that old Morrison's space has been empty for a while now.

Where was the old Morrison's?  Was it near the food court?

thelakelander

Same floor but opposite end of the food court.  It's directly across the hallway from Ruby Tuesday at the entrance between Belk and Forever 21.

the way things have been going with AJs, it might not be long...although they are adding some retail up front (on Tenn St.) which may help revive things
