Who cares about the helmet. As long as the jerseys/shirts/merch sell, the organization is happy. Nobody buys replica helmets anymore anyway.

As long as they win, nobody will care.

Call me stupid but I care.  I don't want to cheer for a team decked out in Arena League crap playing on an NFL field.

I can't believe the leak was real. I like nearly everything about the new unis. I actually don't have any complaints with the 'helmets, they look very bold, and sharp; I think that in general bold 'first' changes like a two-tone helmet will come with some shock value, that will eventually go away once people become used to it. My only knit pick is that IMO there's a lil' too much primary color in each uni (black in the regular home jerseys). I'll take bold and unique right now over those last year's plain Jane unis anyday!

Okay, we get it Megatron, you don't like the unis. You said it like three times already.

I like them,  don't live in jax anymore but had season tickets form day one and still have season tickets.  I have watched all there games on directtv, regardless how painful they have been.  The new uniforms are a great step up!  hard to believe its been since 1999 since the team has been relavent to the nfl.  Yes I know about the one year with garrard.

I love the new uniforms and really like the helmet.  Just refreshing to see something new instead of the old and tired. So they are new and bold. On Jags MB they are doing an interesting poll to see if those that like or dislike are above or under 40.  I think clearly the new uni and helmet are targeted to appeal to the younger fans. And let's face it they are the ones this franchise needs to be viable long term here in Jax.  But hey count this over 40 as on board with the change!

Okay..so I need everyones opinon. Personally, I dont want to draft a left tackle. Eugene Monroe was OUTSTANDING last season. If Im not mistaken, he ranked as one of the top left tackles the past two seasons. I think it would annoy me if we draft a tackle (Jockel or Fisher) just because they are the "best player available". With so many holes in our roster, we have a million of other needs that need to be addressed, and left tackle is not a priority. I think we need to go defense in the first round... Thoughts?

I meant to respond to this the other day. I'm very concerned about who's gonna play right tackle for us this year. We literally had turnstiles playing to right tackle position last year. I know that many will disagree, but I wouldn't mind seeing us pick up a tackle in the draft, a player that we will have for the long run. I don't think that adding a tackle equals to Monroe's departure, because we need someone to play right tackle. I just want Gabbert to be fully protected without any 'hole in the levy' excuses. While Dion Jordan definitely has freakish abilities, who's to say he's not another Derrick Harvey, a player who everyone raved about when the Jags drafted him?

Well Im good now. CAldwell already stated if they draft a tackle, he will be moving to right tackle. That Im good with. They want the best player avaiable and fill a need, and that does both. I think either tackle is the safest option. Dion is a risk because of him coming off that injury, but he has SOO much upside. But they all could be a bust, who knows.  And I agree about our line. Regardless of who played QB, our line was complete utter garabage last season.

Just read Jarret Dillard signed with the Cardinals. Good to see him get another chance.

I'll be disappointed if the Jags draft a OT.

I don't mind drafting OL, just not with that 1st round pick.

If they do that means this regime doesn't believe in Monroe.

I think we have other greater needs.
