It was so funny on Mike Dempsey what this caller said; This joker said that he would rather (hypothetically) have a 4-12 Tebow lead Jags, than a playoff team without him, I'm not kidding!!! That's the problem with these idiots, they should just stick to being Gator fans.

wow....glad I wasn't listening to that

Tebow must have Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian's publicist.

He was traded for a 4th round pick. Two years after being taken in the first round. That is how little Elway and NFL GM's think of him....

And what do you think Gabbert would get if we wanted to trade him? Probably the same. Tebow was actually traded for three picks, a fourth, a sixth and a seventh.

What a weird week, and what a weird move by the Jets.

Time will tell on this one.

Gabbert had better come to play this season though, that's for sure.

If Tim fails in New York, and Gabbert excels, all will be forgiven.

If Tebow flourishes in New York and Gabbert has another season like last year, that's going to be a tough one to recover from.

Can't wait for football season, that's for sure.

Define "flourishes"?  Rushes for 50 yrds on 4 wildcat plays a game?  Or do you mean starts over the newly contracted Sanchez?

I never understand the Gabbert talk.  If Gabbert is bad, why would you want to bring in another bad QB?

So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

I'll see you all at Jets @ Jags wearing my NY Jets Tebow jersey.

I'll be hard to spot though since half the fans in attendance will be wearing the same thing.

Actually, a 4th and a 6th for Tebow and a 7th.  But whatever floats your boat.

And cause I think they overpaid, does that make it a good deal?  Happens all the time in the NFL.

Now that we've dodged this bullet, I'll wish Tebow well in New York. He had some strong flashes last year and I think he has the potential at least to be a solid backup/specialty player. Honestly I'd take him for an even better trade were he willing to commit to being a TE or something.

It is amusing to see all these Tebowites showing their true colors. Is there really anyone left who thinks these clowns would have been a lasting ticket boost?

Much more than a 4th round pick and two meaningless picks.

Blaine Gabbert was supposed to be a Senior in college last year and was thrown to the wolves. We had an awful offensive line and quite likely the worst receiving corps in the entire NFL. Mike Thomas would be the 3rd WR at best on many NFL teams. Remember that Christian Ponder and Andy Dalton were both a full two years older than Gabbert and had an extra year of college experience. Plus much better offensive weapons around them.

Lets see what Gabbert can do with a full offseason to learn the playbook and hopefully more weapons around him.

Like I said, have fun sitting with the rest of the 40,000 die hard fans.  Hopefully you can get 20,000 more excited about  another vanilla season. Like the previous person said, you might have a big crowd on the Jets day.

Oh, you mean like at the Broncos game in 2010 that was a sea of teal after everyone predicted the same?

Thanks,

Your purchase of the Jets jersey will be shared amongst all 32 teams, meaning that by purchasing said jersey, you gave a little to the Jaguars.

Its funny that our attendance has 62,000-63,000 the past two years, but yet you keep saying only 40,000 people show up to games. Seems that you dont have you facts straight. Dan, for the second time today, go to sleep or do something productive.

I'll let Fireman Ed be the judge of that.  If he's wearing a Tebow jersey, then I'm sold it was a good move.  Time to search the web and find out how the Jets feel about getting tebow.
