We officially did it!!!! ZERO BLACKOUTS!!!!

http://www.jaguars.com/fuel/2010Season.aspx

Congrats to the Jags, Team Teal and the fans for righting the ship only one season after having record blackouts!! I hope we have made a statement to the rest of the country and especially Los Angeles, this is Jacksonville's team!

On a side note... I interviewed last week for the Champions Club and during their presentation they mentioned being way ahead of schedule for next season. Most fans are renewing through the new 20/20 deal and many were already signed up for the 30/30. If we can add around 4K to 5k more season ticket holders - there will be no more fuel gauge or blackout watch.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

I think we definitely gain more fan support this season. I hope we get more than 4k to 5k season ticket holders. I still think Weaver bought up alot of those remaining tickets to lift the black outs. The home game vs Indy and the Monday night were the only games that really seemed full.

duvaldude08

^^^yeah I think he bought up the tickets for the last two. It is was very close. But I think the game this week is soley because of the fans. After we beat the Raiders and overcame our 7-5 curse, the tickets started to disappear. I know I have one.  Section 227 anyone? :)

Vic strongly implied that military donations sold out the Houston game and that WW bought out the remaining tickets for the Cleveland game.  There may have been a corporate buyout of the final tickets for Oakland, but that's no big deal; it is very common in other markets for a corporation or TV station to buy up the last 2,000 or so tickets to a game (it has happened in Cincinnati, SD, and Minnesota repeatedly), and Jacksonville has been much less dependent on corporate support to sell out than many other cities have.  Our average # of tickets per season ticket holder account is something like 3 vs. 10 for most teams.

Kool! I only made three games this year. But I am getting seasons tickets next year. This has been a hell of a season and I think it was re-energized the team and the fans! I am pumped and dont care what anybody has to say about us. Before we expect the nation to love and respect Jacksonville, we have to start loving our own PERIOD. Go Jags!!!!!!!

INCREDIBLE season for the Jaguars and for the city of Jacksonville.

Zero blackouts.

A new naming-rights deal for the stadium.

Massive Jag pride througout the city.

And a team that completed surpassed expectations.

Nowhere to go but up from here.

I do not want to MOCK your words, but all 3 phases of the game will get even better next year with a year of seasoning on Alualu, Lane, Hart, and company.  A new QB to learn behind David for a season or two will be good (who knows, it could be Trent Edwards...he is only 27 with 4 years in the league).  As long as David and MoJoD can practice together and play healthy, we will win out and hope the Dolts lose one.

The D-line is playing really well. Hopefully both Kampman & D'Anthony Smith heal up well during the offseason and make it even better. Cox & Mathis have struggled but they're not the dregs of the league. The LB's are in good shape too - we could maybe use some more speed at the position to cover the tight-ends that have seemed to give us trouble all year. The safety positions are in desperate need at both spots. Considine plays well in nickel & dime, Courtney Greene plays the run pretty solid... now we need a ball hawk type of guy that can cover & close.

2 more drafts and we'll be a dominant force for the years to come.

Hey I'm in SEC 103  row AA. 30/30 plan here so I'll be there for the next few yrs also. I also hope Kampman can recover from his injury again. He was a force on the field something our defense hasn't seen in a while. Jags certainly on the rise.

KenFSU

Man, I'd be happy if we could just get those damn turnovers cut in half.
