^^yeah that was a huge problem this year. We racked up most of them in the beginning of the seasson though. The most reason were sundays. The san diego and cleveland game was the worst. But thats says alot about his team to be 8-6 as much as the ball gets turned over. I think that is amazing everyone. They always rebound.

INCREDIBLE season for the Jaguars and for the city of Jacksonville.

Zero blackouts.

A new naming-rights deal for the stadium.

Massive Jag pride througout the city.

And a team that completed surpassed expectations.

Nowhere to go but up from here.

That's for sure.  7-9 with a soft schedule vs. 8-6 with a difficult one.  Huge difference on field.

The D-line is playing really well. Hopefully both Kampman & D'Anthony Smith heal up well during the offseason and make it even better. Cox & Mathis have struggled but they're not the dregs of the league. The LB's are in good shape too - we could maybe use some more speed at the position to cover the tight-ends that have seemed to give us trouble all year. The safety positions are in desperate need at both spots. Considine plays well in nickel & dime, Courtney Greene plays the run pretty solid... now we need a ball hawk type of guy that can cover & close.

2 more drafts and we'll be a dominant force for the years to come.

LB could be an issue this offseason since Morrison and Durant are free agents.  Daryl's a stalwart of course, and Allen is a good utility man to have, but I could see us targeting LBs in free agency and the draft.  For one reason or another, I do not think we will keep both Morrison and Durant.

I am still hoping Don Carey emerges as that ball hawk guy; he has the athleticism to do it but obviously is still learning the position.  I'm also biased because he is from my area.

Driving down for Va Beach for the game for what should be the last time.  Missed out on the Broncos, Titans, Texans, and Browns games because that drive sucks, but saw the other ones, and I have to finish out the home season the right way: AT THE BANK.  This has been a fantastic season by all my accounts.  Screw Cowher, Gruden, and whoever else; Gamblin' Jack is my guy.

Representing Section 122 for the next three years.  Next year we sweep the Colts.  Write it down.

Kells, why did I forget you are in Va Beach?  I'm in Grafton.

It also doesn’t help that the Jags let the worst rushing team in the league run the ball 24 times for 155 yards including a TD.

and with a 2nd/3rd string running back!

Both of the big Brown runs were "element of surprise" plays, not "Colts outmuscling the Jaguars at will" plays.

Same as when Tony Nathan or Woody Bennett would break a long run for the early-years Marino Dolphins.  The '84 Dolphins--the year Marino set the passing yardage record--averaged something like 4.5 yards per carry but had no ability to line up and run straight at you.

Because the last time it came up was in the preseason and that was forever ago.  I don't know where Grafton is, but I think it's on the other side of the HRBT, yes?  The offer still stands for hitting a BWW or something.  There's still the Houston game   ;D

Hey, let's go 10-6 just for kicks and say we sold out every game, and we had a winning record. If we tie the colts in wins, we split the season and we will have shown progress over last year. Showing progress is all we can do at this stage, we need so many things on D, its not funny, but to be 10-6 with the guys we have playing now, is huge!

Avoiding blackouts is not the same as selling out.  Jags need to sell a lot more club seats and suites next year to remain financially viable.

^^^I was speaking of selling out enough to lift black outs. I think we all know what a true sell out is. Lets just focus on the postive now and not talk about next year.

Functionally, I think the money from the EverBank and Florida Blue deal just about covers half of the lost revenues from the club seats unsold this year.

Still, the revenue increase over last year is significant, and as Vic says, the arrow is pointing up.

I just sent you a message about getting together for this and I hope it went through, but in case it didn't, I am on the other side of the HRBT but would be glad to get together to watch the Houston game at a place that's convenient for you (I don't mind crossing the water at all).
