Saw some highlights of the Houston/Baltimore game... they really rallied in the second half.  Couldn't tell if the Ravens got a bit smug or if Houston just figured them out.

There is something Fishy about the TExans I cant put my finger. They have some of the best players And have a great team overall, but they keeping losing. I dont know if it is a coaching issue or what, but something definately isnt right. They have made a come back several times this year, just to still lose the game.

^ I agree.  Maybe its just the mistakes and giving up the big play more often than making the big play?

I believe I read this on Profootballtalk.com, but the Texans are the first team ever in a season to come back from 14 or more points in the 4th quarter and tie or take the lead to go on and lose the game.

I dont know, but once they get it together, they are going to be a force to be reckon with. I will admit, they are good, they just make too many mistakes that always cost them the game. Fumble, interceptions, etc

Now it looks like we need two wins and a Colts loss to win the division... or we need a division win against the Texans and a Colts loss to the Tits.

Our destiny isn't in our hands anymore....

I think it really boiled down to Garrad and MOJO not having time to pratice together last week. It was very evident they were not on the same page. We had a chance to win once we got on fire, but that inception and the bocthed off side kick killed. But I commend out team for their determiation this year. Through it all they NEVER gave up on a game. Even when they knew they were going to lose. If the commentators was saying how amazing it is that a team that makes so many mistakes has a winning record. These guys are determine.

Even though we lost, this is giving the divison a sign, "Yall better wacth out, we are on your tail!" All in all Im happy.

It boiled down to the Colts being the better team. As long as they have Manning they will be tough to beat. Doesn't matter had bad the skins are, the Jag defense will keep them in the game. We know what to expect from Houston. Its been a fun yr regardless Go Jags!!!!!!!!!!!!

What?? No talk of "the playcalling sucked"?  No "fire Del Rio"?  No "we need to get rid of Jerrard"??  Man, I need to stay off the team's Facebook page.

To me, the single most pivotal play in the game was Del Rio defying all logic and going for it on 4th down early in the 3rd quarter in Jacksonville territory. We punt that ball, who knows what might have happened. I like the fact that Del Rio has enough confidence in his offense (or maybe enough of a lack of confidence in his defense) to regularly go for it on 4th down, but this call wasn't gutsy, it was pretty darn stupid.

All that aside though, the Jags were outplayed by Indy, plain and simple.

There's plenty of blame to go around.

Still, not going to let one game take away from what a fantastic season the Jags and the city of Jacksonville have had. Let's get a win on Sunday.

IMO, despite the errors, the defensive scheme was way too deep.  I assume that was intended to allow the D to "bend and not break" keeping the deep weapons in check while MJD ran all over them on offense.  When it was apparent that Mojo wasn't going to get the big yardage, the defense should have played much closer to the line and pressed Manning some more.  He lit up the middle like a christmas tree!

Stay far away from there for sure.  I think most of its denizens are people who actively root against the Jaguars and/or are in the Tebow Cult.

It also doesn’t help that the Jags let the worst rushing team in the league run the ball 24 times for 155 yards including a TD.

When you fear the pass and have one of the worst secondaries known to football, the run becomes much easier. I hope the team can put this behind them on focus this Sun. 10-6 would be a major accomplishment for this squad.
