Ok. Totallyyyyy off subject. I just read in the business journal that Jacksonville hotel room total is currently 26,993. The NFL only required Arlington (cowboys) to secure 20,000 to host the superbowl. What do yall think about that number?

Money. Do you know how many people can attend a SB in Cowboy Stadium? I bet they wont complain either.

^ Add to that the likelyhood the Dallas/Fort Worth area probably has 5 times that amount of rooms.

Im curious to know why the the super bowl events are not being held in Dallas. I mean its obvious why the game isnt (because the stadium is in Arlington). But I heard the SB events are being held in Ft Worth (if im not mistaken). That sort of strange? Was the city of Dallas just not ready? Im lost

There likely will be events held in Dallas and Fort Worth and everywhere in between (the same thing happened in Jacksonville).  I think the main NFL sanctioned events will be held around the stadium though.

^^ok I read somewhere ALL events were going to be in Arlington and Ft Worth. But thats makes sense.

I agree and people always complain about wanting respect. When the chips are down and their backs to the wall, Colts win Jags lose as they usually do. Hate to say that about my team, but that's how they roll!!

I thought it surprising that Tony Dungy on Sunday Night Football several weeks ago with the Jags in first place and the Colts reeling, said, "the Jaguars will not make it.....the Colts will rally and pass them for the AFC South".

The lady hasn't sung yet, but the organ is warming up.

They always say the Jags yeah but, well Sunday showed the yeah but.
