Nobody said they didn't understand what you were saying, it's the flagrant disregard for using appropriate grammar...which is the point they were making. Attacking...hardly. It was politely pointed out about their incorrect grammar, and the response was that they opted to ignore and use what is clearly taught throughout school.

couldnt have said it any better  :D

Thats because if you had the moxy to say it out loud at all, youd be risking a well aimed lightning bolt with your name clearly electroplated on it, that God has been saving for a while.. ;)

I say "Jesus tap dancing Christ on a cracker" alot outloud actually :3

And what's up with these words, are they intentionally misspelled ?
goïng wealthiër everyöne anyöne
Takes a lot of effort to do that.

ok guys, you do kindof have to appreciate the irony.

Kuroi is commenting on the shallow idealism, pretentious self importance and petty priorities of the newcomers....

Who are all apparently attacking him over the mispelling of the word 'of'.

If this is intentional, its bloody brilliant.

;D

This middle-aged, balding, convertible-driving owner of an SRG home with a relatively nice lawn and with friends in the Mommie's group would like to point out that K's own posts clearly reveal his disdain for what he might think is becoming an unwelcome, homogenized neighborhood society.

Yet he would gladly obliterate the word "of", by his own admission a one-of-a-kind word in the English language. Don't the trademarks of the homogenized society include the removal of the individual, eliminating the "odd", berating and brow-beating the "one-of-a-kind" into conformation with the rest?

aw, you guys.  you're making me blush.  and porchcats, you may have me there.  except, ov course, that language isn't about individuality*.

hanjin1:  though i may not be believed, i'm not intentionally trolling--it's how i use the language.  i'm not tryïng to wave it in anyöne's face, but i'm also not goïng to change just for one forum.

stephendare:  i'm flattered, but it's not intentional.  my livejournal entries, my instant messages, and my notes to myself are all written the same way.

now then:  if everyöne's done jumping up my butt for reasons that have nothing to do with either the neighbourhood or my (perhaps inflammatory) opinions regarding the neighbourhood, can we please move on?

*irony duly noted.
