That's what I was thinking...that the avenues was getting old, and "uncool".  I'm surprised, but well, at least they're coming.  they could relocate later if need be, so long as it's still in the city.

And thanks, Shoe.  The key to a do like this--above all else--is commitment.  it takes as much work as raising a small child.  :)

Good empty anchor call reednavy.
Bad call on Lion's Gate.  
It, and Esplanade properties will both be developed.  maybe with different names.  Time will tell.

On a side note, The Simon Properties folks are in town today, and tomorrow.  Both the Town Center, and the Avenues are better performers in the Simon properties portfolio.
