Where is the "Springfield Est. 1869" sign featured on the Heritage Center website?  The background looks like the Barnett house on 1st St. but I didn't recall having seen the sign before.  Thanks!
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

It's kind of on the corner across 1st Street from the Pearl. There's another one near 4th and Pearl Street.   It's not a huge sculpture...about the size of a street sign.

I think I might have to check this group out. I am a steam punk at heart already

Here is something I found on you tube. It sure would be cool to have a steam punk festival in klutho park.

I hope he will build some queen ann style houses

Springfield Girl

I saw his plans today and they were very attractive. No queen anne styles but the two I saw will fit the neighborhood nicely.

We are so fortunate to live in Springfield, with all the great thing happening here. While others looks forward to the next chain store being built close to them we look forward to new neighbors

Can we get the city to pay for this?  I saw it in the folio paper today, cracked me up.

Isnt it interesting how peaceful it is on these forums when certain posters aren't around. Even when there are disagreements, they seem to be a lot less amped up and out of control.

Interesting indeed.

I have decided I'm not going to participate in the back and forth "you are wrong, I am right" parts and just be funny guy and positive guy.

9a is my backyard post about buying a house in Springfield

I sure did! :) I've brought a few people to eat at Uptown Market as well who would likely not have visited Springfield otherwise.
