Celebrate Main Street (w/ video)

Maybe there should be stronger focus and promotion on the Main Street enhancment project that SPAR been working on?  The concept is a pretty good one and probably as "positive" as it gets these days, given the economic conditions.  MJ would also be willing to run it on the front page (i've mentioned this to several people offline in the neighborhood by the way).  That invitation is still open.  Just supply us with the necessary info.

I fully plan on promoting the crap out of the property enhancement program when the timing is right. Still tying up some loose ends and what not. When things start lining up I will definitely get up with you about doing an MJ article. Thanks for the open offer. This is Jeremy by the way.

I didn't post an official announcment, sorry if I gave that impression. Just what i gathered from a recent meeting I observed.

I think they mentioned an official announcment would come shortly (ie, reaching out to organizations, including yours).

Oh, I know.  I was just explaining why the thread probably did not have many comments at the time.

wonder what kind of music/bands will be playing?

it would be cool to have the Krystee's crowd (the soul/jazz/r&b/spoken word joint at 9th & Main) performing at 9th & Main, outside.

The location and the artists would draw a crowd, i'm sure. A mic, outdoor seating, food and BAM....you have yourself a party.
