I still remember the one they had in regency - I never understood how these stores stay in business.

Thanks for asking. I had no idea either what that meant.  Did not know they sold cokes at the local Disney stores.  But then again I never go in them so perhaps they do.

It was a joke regarding how much everything costs at Disney.

$96 1-day entry fee (add $39 if you want the "park hopper option).
$17 per day to park.
$3 for soda, or $4 for bottled water

Wasn't Walts original idea to have an affordable vacation for the American family? Now Disney offers annual payment plans  ??? :o

We do the annual monthly pass thing for FL residents & its not too bad (if you take advantage of it). Its close enough to go on a whim, but the park resorts are cheap enough for members to stay over if you want.
