A white male with poodle pooed in front of a house between 5th and 6th st.

I am by no means saying other homeowners don't have the right to be annoyed.  Nor am I saying their rights have not been violated by the offending poo-er.

All I am saying is some people don't care, and I am one of those people.  ;D

so we forgive the less crime? where do we draw the line? We want our hood to get better. Is that so wrong? When I walk my dog at midnight, there is no one to notice my dog shit and no one to remind me, I pick them up. I cannot believe that piece of trash (not the dog poo) refuse to pick up after his dog after being confronted.

Ok I see your point, it is annoying.

But see, this is why i'm not big on pets. They stink, they mess everywhere, get hair all over my work shirts and pants

Anyway!

Good info on the pet ordinances/laws though.

After a rough day at work, I needed a good laugh.

Two points.  One, I have a dog and always pick up after him and yes, think it is quite rude others don't follow the same courtesy.  It comes down to a matter of respect.

And two.  I live in Springfield with an alley behind the house and I guess alley is synonymous for bathroom because I catch "man" doing his "thang" all the time.  I love it when the headlights catch the glistening bum of a bum as I turn into the alley at night.  Or they try to grab a quick pee behind the dumpster before hopping on the bus (no wonder we think buses are dirty!).  Unfortunately Stephen, "it still is how it works in the neighborhood."

To those who posted, thanks for the 411 on the codes. If we take anything of value any from this thread that would be it. The one thing it seems to be lacking is any enforcement of people who don't clean up after their pets. Both 303 & 304 had fines, etc, but 301 was lacking.

462.301. also has a fine. It's just not immediately obvious.
QuoteSec. 462.302.  Noise. (b)   A violation of this Section, or any subsection of Section 462.301, shall subject the violator to a civil fine of $250.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Actually I just realised, the way the topic line is worded evokes an image of a white male taking a dump on the sidewalk... The poodle was just accompanying him....  Maybe we can send Jerry Moran over there with a video camera?  Get some proof?

Why is it that we have big issues here in this city and we all get fascinated by dog poop and scuffles at registers in pizza parlors?

:D :D :D

I guess it's because no matter your political affiliation, locale preference or religious background, poop is a common denominator. It unites us all, c'mon you've seen that episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia titled "who pooped the bed?"

Danny Devito summed it up by answering why everyone was so fascinated with the topic, he said "poop is funny!" and the gang all joined in on a good laugh.

In fairness, the guy running the register was a former mob hit man who had ratted out his boss and went into the witness protection program, where he decided to pistol-whip a customer who complained about a calzone, who himself had outstanding arrest warrants. LOL! Welcome to effin' FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!

I mean, come on, I don't care where you are, be it NYC, Philly, whatever, that is going to be an interesting story...

Love that episode and IASIP
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

As a serious Sopranos fan I have to say that story from Flagler Bch made me roll on the floor laughing my ass off!  I could totally see that scene playing out with Pauley or Tony's nephew doing the pistol whipping.

Ahhh, how I miss Tony and the boys!
