Anybody know of any retail/dining/housing planned for the Park & King area?  There seems to be a good bit of activity around there.

Thanks

Did you see that new BBQ place over there? I thought it was an odd location, but good luck to them.

Have you tried it out?  I haven't gotten around to it yet, but it definately smells good passing by.

There's a development in the works called Riverside Court.  However, I don't know if it's been delayed by the change in the housing market.

Conditional capacity availability for Riverside Court, 22 condominiums, 2767 Lydia Street between King Street and Sydney Place, on 1.84 acres, $2.5 million; agent is Doug Skiles; owners are Mark Himes and Stringfellow Partners LLP. (No. 7537)

I haven't :( typically when I walk by there it is 6:30 or so in the morning and BBQ just doesn't sound that great. But, I can still smell it so you know whatever they are slow cooking must be tender.

Brown Brothers BBQ is pretty good.  Their ribs are sooooo tender.

Slow cooked ribs sounds really good, I must try this place for lunch sometime.

That is cool. A real Biergarten in Riverside.

Is that the old Flying Goat building?

Has anyone been to that restaurant yet?  Is it any good?  Good beer selection?

I went there yesterday.  Nice change of pace .  Worth a try.  I wouldn't rave about it but I'd go there again.  It would be better if they would have German style St. Pauli girls for waitresses .

Now that you mention it, a Colombian themed restaurant might offer some interesting diversion as well. Cartagena anyone? I just knew there was some reason to keep going to that damn beach!
