Wordle players are getting paranoid.  Complaining about unusual words.  Really?  Older games had plenty of them including culinary, geographic and offbeat variations that many may not be familiar with. 

I have noticed that the game favors "high value" Scrabble letters when there are multiple possibilities to the last one or two letters :).  So I would say Scrabble players have a bit of an advantage.
