In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Hi I'm JaxJersey-licious and I'm a Wordleholic.

<<hi JaxJersey-licious>>

Why thank you! And...oh where are my manners...

242 5/6

Anyway, ever since the NY Times got their grubby hands on the game have the answers become more frou-frou or is it just me.

And if our word-addled brains weren't frayed enough, I found this little gem. Embrace the madness!

I thought that for a couple days, especially with the word a few days ago that began and ended with a "C". that said, since then they've been a LITTLE challenging but I thought they were fair words that I really should have thought of in less guesses than it actually took me.

Today was 4/6 but I wasted a guess stupidly.

The issue of making it harder has been widely discussed in the national media.  The NY Times has emphatically responded that they have done nothing to change the words.  Having done over 100 Wordles in the archives that date to before I started playing daily, I believe there is a long history of tricky words from the very beginning.  See my previous post above about my experiences.

My theory is we are all wired differently and, given enough words and approaches, we will all eventually get a "mental block" about certain solutions to get frustrated over.  You may get one word quickly that I struggle to guess and visa versa.  Part of the fun of the game.

I also began playing the archived games(26-1)... tricky is in the eye of the beholder.  First guess is a big factor in the following 5 guesses... I am seeing improvement in my analysis and approach with the extra practice...
