Question: Is Myles Jack any good?  Is Telvin Smith truly and completely done with playing professional football?

Jack is terrible at middle linebacker.

In 2017 and early last year, he looked like a potential star. Not sure what happened to be honest.

He cannot tackle, has terrible instincts and is no longer a playmaker.

Unfortunately, I agree with you.  Also, I cringe every-time he makes a tackle because he's a personal foul/unsportsmanlike penalty waiting to happen.

X3  I don't know what has happened to Jack.  I guess he just has a good dose of Jaguar stink.

yeah....he seems to take offense at every single tackle and missed tackle he makes. Hope this is just a phase that he can play through

If there's another GM out there that would be OK coming into a situation where they would be more of a committee approach v/s having full control, then get one.

Dave had already taken a step down when TC got here, so to keep him on isn't necessarily a bad thing for me because outside of taking LF27 over DW4 in 2017 - most everyone of those picks has been solid and I attribute that to the 'committee' style that they had to use rather than DC just making the pick he felt was best.

And TK has already had quite a bit of input and from my understanding has pulled some quality players from the dregs of the draft and UDFA.   Let's see what he can do at the top of the draft.

Seems like Tony is just having the time of his life with the wrestling thing.

Seems like he's going to be on the road 52 weeks a year for AEW, plus his responsibilities with Fulham and the Jags.

I'm with you, think the guy has done some amazing things for the Jags, I just wonder about bandwidth.

Out of curiosity, what has he done with the Jags? I know his role is an analytical based role. What are some actual "wins" that he's done with the team? Is there examples? I'm not saying he hasn't, I'm just unaware and curious to know.

This TB vs JAX game is gonna be a rough one to go to. I'm gonna force myself though....

Tre Hernden, Jarrod Wilson, Corey Grant to name a few.

All three of those examples above are inconclusive. I also recall him explaining how analytics showed Bortles could be serviceable, and even quite good, under certain circumstances.

The game vs. Tampa Bay will probably be the most attended home game in December for the Jaguars.  A win would be huge.

Even if the Jags win today, they are still a baaaad team.

It isn't looking like the Jags need to worry about winning today.
