While I give Amazon less than 1% chance, it is an interesting thought.  Recently there is talk of Amazon acquiring a fleet of 767 freighters.  VQQ would be a nice fit for this type of cargo operation.

The announcement today might, might be a hint of further good news to come re Amazon and Jacksonville. That "logistics capital" braggadocio thing might really mean something comprehensively big soon.

^ don't count on it.  Amazon is rapidly expanding all over the country.  It's the only way they can expand the 2-hour delivery system to metro areas.

Just read in Daily Record about a 1.5 million square foot warehouse/distribution center for Cecil.  It is being called Project Jaguar.   Hmmm.  Any chance perhaps Kahn thinking of opening a distribution center here for Flex Gate?  Just find the name of project interesting.

That would be ideal - I've been hoping to see Shad make additional business-related investments in Jacksonville.

Curiously enough, Project Jaguar was also Barnett Bank's internal code name for when it sent out feelers to other banks for its acquisition in 1997.

Before we get too excited, what was the code name of the previous project?  If it was something starting with the letter "I", they are just alphabetic code names.

Anyway, that would be too obvious.  Unless they are going for "too obvious" to throw everyone off the trail.  :-)

Per JBJ appears Project Jaguar will be a distribution center for Wayfair.

The diverse logistics profile continues to grow. I see IKEA is placing a mammoth fulfillment center down in Lakeland; could something similar be coming to Big Duval? Whatever the case, more logistics outfits please.
