Sorry, I was mainly referring to the produce. I'm really into produce.

That actually makes sense.

I was wondering about 'old' frozen pizzas  :D

I don't understand why there is so much hype over Trader Joe's. I went there once and I'll never go there again. It's all packaged old product. I don't go there just for cookie spread.

And honestly, their cookie spread is just their version of Biscoff spread, which Rowe's IGA carries and which tastes better.

Trader Joe's is very trendy so it's good that they're putting another one in Jax. But it's one of those Emperor's New Clothes things. I've been a half dozen times because my sister is a fan. I can tell you specifically that their pre-mixed pizza dough is pretty bad and their store brand beer is nigh undrinkable. Other than that, maybe their prepackaged store brand stuff is incredible. Seems like a lot of empty hype.

I don't know - It might be a lot of hype (there certainly seems to be a lot), but on the other hand, the chain has shown very impressive sustained success over a number of decades. Maybe the current buzz is a bit of hype or a trend that will die down, but the store has been doing very well long before it became so much of a "thing".

Mandarin?  Near Amazon/Whole Foods?  Good luck.

Hate to tell them, but in San Marco, pretty much anywhere they could have crammed it in, it would have been a hit.

Probably even in St Nicholas, NEAR San Marco, too.

And my guess is the San Marco residents will probably stop at the Trader Joe's when they drive to Mandarin to visit the Whole Foods, Native Sun, Freah Market and Earth Fare since none are close to them.  Heck, maybe they will even stop at one of the Publix down that way since they don't have one of those either.

Or maybe we wouldn't be caught dead in Mandarin and go to the Fresh Market that is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy  over the bridge in Brooklyn. But that is probably just me.

Yay. One out of five.  Good for you.

And that is unfortunate since I despise San Jose Blvd with every fiber of my being.  All the shopping centers look exactly the same so I always forgot what is where and the traffic is terrible.
