NICE! We're in absolute agreement.  This will put Chomp Chomp farther away from me, but I think this is a great location for them. Herschel and Fairfax are definitely the ultimate winners in this scenario. That strip could use some added vibrancy and this is the perfect business to do it.

Nice...I didnt realize where this was at first. Yeah, definitely would love to see more vibrancy on that strip of Fairfax!

I tried to discuss Edgewood with those guys a few times but they never seemed terribly interested.

This is a bummer. This even FURTHER limits vegan options downtown. I don't see us going past all the options of Brooklyn/Riverside to the new location.

This is the best reaction I have ever had to any MJ article.  I absolutely love Chomp Chomp and that is a prime locale that deserved better than a Hungry Howie's when it was open and has been an eyesore ever since it closed.</B>

I ran into Ian Chase right after he'd picked up his zoning sign. Apparently his lease was up at the downtown location, and the landlord wanted to raise the rent by 75%. The old Hungry Howies location will provide a lot more seating as well as a big outdoor area. I'm psyched to have Chomp Chomp in the 'hood!

I am truly happy for Chomp Chomp. the Landlords downtown are NUTS.

This is the same thing that happened to Poppy Love Smoke.

At the same time, it sucks that the core is loosing this gem.
