Should be a great time...and a win would make for a great ride back.

Definitely.

This is a big longshot. But what I'd love is a big lead late to where the stadium is nothing but the thousands of Jaguars fans who made the trip.

Sure wish I could go on this trip but I will be in town to see the Jags play on the 18th.

I had hoped to make it but just can't get away this weekend. I would love, however, a write-up post-game from you on how things went for you and your group. Ten thousand Jaguar fans in Raymond James should be an incredible sight.

1-15 team. Still can't believe that 1 win came against my Dolphins....smh.

I went down to Tampa for the game.

I was impressed by the amount of Jaguar fans there. We were in the east stands and it seemed to be a pretty even split of Bucs and Jaguar fans in our section.

The stadium is not nearly as nice as Everbank Field. The sound system is so bad you cannot hear the referee announce penalties.  It seemed like a junior version of our stadium.

As for the game, pretty pitiful performance by the defense and special teams. No excuse to be run over by a mediocre Buccaneers offense. Bortles and the Jacksonville offense moved the ball and gives some hope for the future. But it's clear it is only a matter of time before Bradley gets the axe. Probably in two weeks after the team's annual embarrassment in London. Not sure how much it will help but it certainly cannot make them worse.

^^^I went down there also. It was an impressive showing by the Jags fans indeed. The Jags lose with the Corey Grant fumble TD being the key play. I'm not saying the he shouldn't have handled the hand off, but the guy just ran back a punt, and has never been a key part to the offense; Bad coaching, should've gave it to Yeldon. Our D couldn't stop anything out there. Not to mention, I got into a fender bender with my rental in Tampa, so my day is really swell!!! FML...

At least they aren't getting blown out by anyone . . . . Oh wait, they did last week . . . . and oh wait, the Bucs are terrible.  Jags vs Lions in the Not Super Bowl.

Incredibly disappointing loss, even for optimistic me. And it lingered. I've only suffered bigtime Gator losses like this -- I guess I'm more invested in these folks than I realized.

This team is a disaster right now. It would take a miracle to reach the 4 wins that they got in Bradley's first season.

What I don't understand is why so many people in the local media (Brent Martineau, Dan Hicken, Pete Prisco) basically refuse to put blame on Gus Bradley.

If they lose this weekend to Buffalo, he needs to be fired.

The city is very apathetic about the Jaguars right now. I have neighbors that can't give their tickets away. Its not a good time at all and it has to be affecting the bottom line. I thought the bottom had been reached last season but it is still dropping. If you have no one watching or going to your games, then you are in trouble. And yes, we will lose in London. No doubt about that.

You cannot give tickets away. Sunday's crowd was the smallest I can remember in some time. If this continues and the team has 2 or 3 wins going into December again, that game against the Falcons may be a 50/50 split.

Jags are in real trouble.  The revival tent came through last time and got everyone up and going.  It will be real hard to sell that again in the coming seasons.  The game against Carolina the stadium was alive with hope.  It was a great crowd and you could feel the hope for a new season.  That's all gone now.

I've been beyond anger for a while.  You could see this coming a mile away.  I've released all my anger. I watch now for the absurdity of it all. I find Jag games to be a great metaphor for the universe. Wild, unpredictable. Sure there are rules that are followed, like the laws of physics, but there is mostly a lot of dark matter, and no one has a freaking clue what they're looking at.

So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

This is why hope remains, and it was tweeted by Tony Khan:

Yes, they have been a huge disappointment this season. They took a calculated gamble (and properly so, in my estimation) and decided to build this team via an extreme youth movement. It is designed to allow for sustained competitiveness and superior play once the youth matures. Many folks believe Year Three should show us indications of that. I believe it has, but not in the win-loss category *and* our young franchise QB has a penchant for having brain cramps at the most inopportune times. Unfortunately, those brain cramps aren't minor, either. They are Pick-6 brain cramps that statistically kill any real opportunity to win football games.

But he is clearly getting better. With a very young (but promising) wide receiver corps, young (but promising) primary running backs, and a young offensive line that is (in my opinion) our biggest question mark (they show no ability to run-block and limited ability to pass-block) and biggest need for improvement. On defense, because this is a League now predicated on offense, I think we're adequate enough but without our number one draft pick, we can't threaten the QB with our D-line.

No Dante Fowler this year is a killer injury for our defense and essentially no Marqise Lee severely limits the offense. But Julius Thomas running in the clear for his touchdown was a small breath of fresh air. On the radio before the Texans game they made a big point about this being the one home game over a two-month period. That looks to be a good thing right now. Improve and compete against the Bills, Jets and Ravens away from home; that's three opportunities for redemption -- then come home for a victory over the Titans.

Shad Khan is going to stay the course, I suspect, because he signed-off on this youth strategy. So, I don't look for Gus Bradley's job to be in jeopardy nor should it be.

As I've said before, this season isn't about a won-loss record so much as it is about the pieces, and I still like the pieces. We clearly aren't impotent and we've certainly been impotent on offense in the recent past. We desperately need, however, for Blake to eliminate the Pick-6 from his work product. Last week was a jarring regression by Blake. The endzone interception and the Pick-6? Baffling. But, that's part of the learning curve that we're apparently going to suffer with Bortles. I still have faith he's going to be an elite NFL quarterback.
