Good afternoon:



There will be a Small Business Resources meeting tomorrow evening, April 9th @ 6:00 pm.  The meeting will take place on the campus of Edward Waters College (EWC), The Center for the Prevention of Health Disparities, 1401 Grunthal Street, Conference Room. The guest speaker will be Paul Arrington, who currently works with the Florida Small Business Development  Center at UNF.    Dr. Cohen has received confirmation from members of the Myrtle Avenue & Moncrief Road Business Association.  Please let us know via email or call Daphne Colbert if you're planning to attend, so that we'll have enough literature for distribution.

To celebrate and show honor to the memory of Malcolm X, an influential Human Rights activist

whose underlining beliefs were self-discipline, self-education and most importantly self- determination, join us in making history by kicking off the 1st annual Malcolm X Festival and

Parade. This fun-culture filled event will be held on May 16th 2015, the weekend before

Malcolm X's birthday, at Simonds-Johnson Park.

Parade Staging Area & Route

The 2015 Malcolm X Parade will begin staging at 8am, Saturday, May 16th at the Clanzel T.

Brown Park. The parade route is as follow: Moncrief Road (passing Golfair Boulevard) and the

ending point will be the Simonds-Johnson Park (less than a mile).
