5 Awesome Apartments Coming To Downtown



Development is starting to heat up again in and around downtown. Here are five cool urban apartment projects already under construction or proposed.

From what I understand, 220 Riverside is almost completely leased now. Tht is why they are moving on to Phase 2. That will be a hot area and those apartments will go fast and stay filled.

This is by far one of the most important projects for downtown, I hope it starts real soon.

If the city can't make this happen, then shame on them.  I agree.  This is one of the most important projects (locally- inner city) since I moved here.  This should be a top priority.  It does not seem like the city seems very interested in making this happen unless there is backroom negotiations going on.  I'm taking this on recent articles.  I would love a MJ story on the projects progress.

as for an update, the DIA is expected to issue a Go/No Go on the proposed incentives by March

The city has probably paid several times that in its multitude of "studies" over the years, so we would probably see a better ROI.

Yes.

It would be a drop in the bucket compared to other projects / studies. The amount of revenue this could generate by stoking the "fire" downtown would be great for everyone. Just think of the amount of tax revenue these 4 buildings alone could generate over a 10 year period. Not only that, but the positive outcome would give investors a reason to bring other things here.
