My sister was talking today with the man who will be managing the new Mellow Mushroom in Avondale.  The restaurant has a target date to be open by Thanksgiving.

That surveyor is taking up more parking in an area that already has a limited supply!! I object!!!

I don't know if WE (still) LOVE AVONDALE, but I sure as hell do.

The Award result in part due to City engagement with neighborhood groups,including Preserve Jax,such meetings with locals considered "clandestine".(Trust me,I was there for the first round(s)...gosh,there were some overweight folks there,Preserve Jax....and friggin Former Clay County Planner Fraser,always RAP resident during Clay tenure..now,shesh!....here we are.....WLA Secret Meeting......I got a "R.I.C.O." file with her name noted (Beltway)....Calvin Burney the last pages.....Yea City Of Jackksonville Planning Dept. !  Jim Love was easy.

The spectre of many hundreds of thousands of dollars (for starters) in citizen legal dfense fund ( well outside RAP "Radar"  ) against MM Application excesses helped make such event,"headlines" regarding "Rubber StamP  City Of Jacksonville".Guns drawn so to speak,no shots...........

We're gonna remove the parking from behind the building,move The Corner Lot building wayyyy back, Close Towne parcel,shift the bar to facing 180 degrees ( that would be....opposite,facing St Johns....Hic!),facing new opened area.
