Glad to see someone stable moving in. Cant say i'm a huge fan of there food, but to each is his own.

The inside of Fat Kat could be multiple things, its huge. Not saying that a really good music venue wouldn't work there either in the right hands but something needs to happen there that's can anchor the street.

Does anyone know the space that Don Nichol of TacoLu was looking at before they decided it was too costly to move to Murray Hill? I've heard there were issues with either the building owner or the cost of renovation or something.

I think the time is right finally. The beach location is incredibly successful with the move to the old Homestead building and they now have a food truck, so they can easily generate interest down here for their business if they wanted to test the waters before heavily investing.

Whenever I run into Don, I always ask him when he is moving into town.

Taco Lu should open up at the fat Kat. I will bug them until they move!

Now just need to revamp and repurpose Fat Kat...

Any ideas on this? What would fit in well there?

A natural/farmers market, an arcade, a swing dance studio, burrito gallery or a taco Lu. If any of those places filled in thee ol fat Kat then I would be so happy.

Is there a kitchen? A full kitchen? I haven't been in there in a long time...

I saw them painting the front today.  Also looked like a team was painting the front of the building next to MSB.

The Hill is ballin now

Quoteor WILL be, hopefully very soon. What's the hold up with Knead and Bold Bean? I know there were no definitive dates but seems like it's taking a long time.

Our space in Murray Hill, as of now, is solely our production facility and training lab to supply our two cafes and wholesale accounts with coffee and training.  It's where we do all of our roasting now that we have out grown the roastery in the back of the Stockton street cafe.

Knead is being opened by Adam, our baker, and should be open by August.

We ate at Maple Street this morning.  The food was very good, the staff was very nice and the place looks great.  We are excited about the future of the block!

I'm so excited for Knead. I Love the ham crossiants at BB but they sell out quick. One of the shop owners in Murray hill mentioned to me there was going to be a walk up window for to-go coffee at the new bold bean, no such luck?
