That jackwagon Hugh Douglas has been sued by his ex for physical abuse. What a scumbag. I hope that she takes him out to the cleaners.

According to FCN, Jimmy Smith will be featured on NFL Network's 'A Football Life". That's awesome he will be featured on that documentary. It's quite an honor. No questioning his overall career numbers. He recently reunited with his former WR teammate Keenan McCardell. Hopefully Smith will overcome his past demons. This is a guy IMO that should have been right after Boselli in the Jags ROH. I'll post the article/video info when it's available.

Thats really good. I think jimmy will eventually be in the ring of honor. Since he stepped, he disappeared and doesnt even come around the time. I think alot of it has to do with being ashamed and embarassed about how he ended his career.

Tommorrow is the last day to make the Jags pick.  Looks pretty even across the board with an edge to Watkins.  A bit surprised there were no "Other" votes which would have included trading out of the third pick.  I believe if the Jags are forced to pick at 3 they will not take a QB.  If they can trade down they will take one there... and if not... they will wait to draft a QB in the second round.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

FSBA

If Clowney is available at 3 he has to be the pick. The team is too bad in too many spots to ignore a player of his caliber.
I support meaningless jingoistic cliches

I will be glad when the draft is over. This is just too much. NFL needs to move it back again next year.

So Sexton out as the voice of,the Jags to be replaced by Frank Frangie.  Hmmm, while not a big fan of Sexton not at all a fan of Frangie.  He will probably spend more time talking about his beloved Gators and Steelers than the game. Head scratcher.

I had not heard this...

Just saw that - I've always thought that Frangie was the most solid sports radio personality in town.  I'll miss Sexton, though, because it's all that we've ever known.

Right there with you.

Was never a huge Sexton fan, but Frank Frangie? Ugh.

Awful.

I will agree with your statement... just not sure about him as a play by play guy...

Seeing a lot of speculation (or is it hope) on the Jags message board that it is a temporary filling. Who knows.

The issue with Frangie, is uh, you've got to think, now listen rick, you've got to think that...and now I know he's done ok on the radio, and I know he's been around a while, but gosh, you've got to think that that that this is, uh, this is, uh, this is uh temporary. I mean I mean, how, hooooow do you let someone go like uh Brian Sexton, and I know he wasn't the fan favorite, or wasn't what we expect from the Munsons, and the Huberts, but he, and hear me out rick, he, uh, he got the job done.
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

Hahahahaha.....

I don't listen to 1010, but you've made me want to listen.

Throw in a few, "boy"s and you've replicated this guy:

A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Worst Frangie trait is the constant mentioning of "my sources tell me...", "what I am hearing is...".
