Well Uche has been cut. I figured there would be movement on the offensive line. They were garbage the majority of the season. I wonder if Rackely will survive.

^^i would think Rackley survives unless really horrible in camp. He is still on his rookie contract and comes pretty cheap. At very least if not terrible in camp he could provide for some cheap depth.

Wacca Pilatka

I'm sure Rackley sticks as a backup, especially because he can play LG, C, and RG.

Uche was a great guy to the fans and wrote a typically classy farewell message on Facebook, with all kind things to say about the city, Dave and Gus, and the fan base.

Are the new scoreboards expected to be ready for the US Soccer game in June?
My understanding  is yes they are.

that seems surprising given that the old ones aren't down yet and the new piers haven't been constructed

My bad y'all. I mentioned that the stadium renovations were gonna be done by June; I read that info on Jaguars.com, and it mysteriously disappeared. According to Mark Lamping on Jaguars.com Live, he said the renovations are on schedule, and they are expected to be finished with everything by 'the middle of July'.

Leading up to Wednesday's launch of the Jacksonville Jaguars' new initiatives for season ticket holders, the team's sales and marketing staff put in more hours than it had in any other single month in years.

The program, dubbed Jags 365, will cost the team close to $1 million, Johnson said. Among the things the money will pay for: eight new employees, including an audience development manager poached from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Just read that the chargers released Cox. I just cant believe he was so terrible in San Diego, but was really good here. I guess he may not have fit their scheme. The only person we released that excelled is pot roast, and I think thats only because what he went through when he was here (weight issues, etc etc) Some people need a good kick in the ass and thats what hes got. It seems EVERYONE that was released have disappeared. Fans were upset about how many players were let go last season. This is prove the new reigme knows that they are doing.

Cox was good here? He was benched half way through one season and never played 16 games, being on IR is the only thing he played well for the Jags.

I have a feeling Jags don't pick a QB at 3.

Credible sources are reporting that the Jags are interested in Michael Vick.

Hope it isn't true.

I doubt that is true, Vick is too polarizing a person, and he is too old to carry the franchise for the next 8-10 years

Well they just resigned Henne to a 2 year contract so I think the Vick rumor can be laid to rest. Gotta love reliable sources...aka...the players agent trying to get a market for his client.

Hmm, I would have loved Vick being here instead of Henne. He's only polarizing to the self righteous. Maybe he'll end up in Minnesota with AP.

I agree that Vick is the better QB.  But he won't be the mentor to a young gun.  Vick wants to start and stay there.  He would be polarizing on a number of issues.  I don't see the Jags going in that direction.
