It's when the franchise was awarded in 1993. The team first played in the 1995 season.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

It was a hot sunny day against the Houston Oilers, we played pretty well for an expansion team.  Still have my ticket!  1st season tickets were still the coolest.

Thanks Tac, I thought the 1995 season was first and that's where my confusion was.

Wow Civil, Houston Oilers ... That may be worth something someday!

doubt that but was a very fun day.  Frank Wycheck caught the first pass against us, the first of many in his career and Coughlin never figured out how to cover a tight end during his tenure in jacksonville

He owed us after all those damn drop passes, he needs to fix that. LOL!! But you can always depend on him in the clutch! And our defense is a monster in the making. They had a  3 or 4 game strecth where they struggled, but those guys are on their shit. And to make it even more impressive they are rookies. Our offense needs ALOT of work, but great team win overall. And I have give much props to the coaching staff for keeping the sinking ship from reaching the bottom.

General consensus is, there is not an Andrew Luck in the draft class. If we learned nothing from Shaq Harris, if its not there, dont force it No more AluAlus at #10 please! Draft the known talent, maybe trade down for more picks, fill holes. Build out the core, and if there is some one available in free agency, grab them, but dont draft another Gabbert.

I think we will keep Henne as a back up though. Hes one of the best back ups in the league. I dont trust him to play a full game (he always making mistakes around the 3 Q), but he could definately get us through at least half the game if our rookie QB got knocked out of the game for whatever reason.

I heard some talk over the radio (The Bold City Football Show) talking about a scenario of not getting an ideal rookie QB, and getting a non-QB like Clowney in the first round, and toughing it out with Henne at starting QB for another season; I wouldn't like that at all, it would drive me crazy! Like you said, I don't trust him to be consistent throughout an entire game. I'm cool with him being a backup in 2014.

I can agree and disagree. We MUST draft a QB, but as you said, dont force it. If its there its there, if its not, its not. Just get a QB. Because nothing on our roster right now is going to get anywhere. Our offense is BAD.

There are probably at least 5 college QBs coming out this year with NFL talent....even if we are the 6th or 7th pick, we should be able to draft a QB with potential
