In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Perhaps if we limit it to 12 chairs and force the new owner to turn Boone Park into 80% parking this can begrudgingly be approved.

Oh this is a great place, we have TAPS on Fleming Island (the old Box Seats on 220) and it is great atmosphere. It is always good to see business come into an area and then expand within that area, even when the powers that be try to limit it!

Been to Taps in Fleming.  Not a great place, but definately not a bad place by any stretch of the imagination (decent enough beer selection).

That building screams sports bar (there is parking available in the rear of the building)... and a good sports bar is badly needed in the neighborhood.  In that respect, this may prove to be a great place to watch a game (as will Mellow).

The great thing about that part of the neighborhood is that no one will be able to tell whether the beer cans are from bar patrons or residents. Genius!

I'd like to suggest the possibility that this type of behavior will probably happen all over riverside/avondale by the clientele of all new restaurants and bars.

Why would one bar be different for the neighborhood than another?
