Also, that bakery on Lomax. Was walking by the other day and saw their electric was turned off by JEA for nonpayment. Does anyone know for sure they're actually going in there?

What about the closing of Amy's in 5 points and the sweet shop that's taking it's place?

What about the sweet shop?  Do you know the name? Perhaps we can do some digging and add something about it.

Not sure of the name. I know there's been a huge green canvas sign in the window for a few weeks. Drive by many times per day. I'll throw up the name next time I see it.

After spending more than a year working out of a Beaver Street commissary and selling their baked goods at the Pecan Park Flea & Farmer's Market, Adrian and Megan Suggs are planning to bring their Motion Sweets concept to Jacksonville's Five Points.

Banners announcing the bakery's pending arrival recently went up in the storefront at 1018 Park St., in the former Crave boutique next to the just-closed Amy's Café.
