Seems like half the Detroit Lions roster is made up of ex-Jags. Even have Shack Harris working in the front office.

He works there now? I thought he was with the Ravens?

Just heard on WOKV that Kevin Elliot was signed by Buffalo.  Have you guys ever looked at other games and picked out random ex-Jags on other teams?  Players that are contributors??  IMO, giving Elliot such a small margin of error was...odd, and I believe letting him go was a mistake.

I think it more so has to do with the fact that they coaches and Gm's see things we dont see. We see a player makes a few cacthes during a game and we say "hey hes pretty decent." We dont see them practice, we dont see the drills, we dont see the things that they evaluate a player based on. We see things from a fans point of view. I believe Kevin Elliot does have a upside to everyones point, but he had a disgusting game against the Jets. VERY disgusting. IMO, that wasnt a small margin of error, that was a huge margin. I know, it was just one game, but I was TOO upset about the release. But it is what it is I guess. I had high hopes for him and I still do. I think he will take sometime to develop though. And time is something the Jaguars ran out of a long time ago.

No, Shack is the assistant GM in Detroit.

I think so, yes, because I remember his having been involved in the trade of Northcutt for Gerald Alexander and that was in the '09 offseason.

really? probably will be lots of Pats fans there.

NotNow

ESPN is reporting that the Jags want Tebow....and Tebow wants release from the Jets.  Mrs. NotNow is ecstatic....I'm at the point where anything is an improvement.

Shad Khan might want to find out who the "team source" that Chris Mortensen has been talking to is, because it's a direct violation of league rules to discuss signing players next year that are currently under contract somewhere else. It's called tampering.

Nice subtle dig at the Jags...even good news isn't good news, huh?

If 10,000 Pats fans show up, that's still 60,000 Jags fans for a 2-12 team.

Thats what Im saying. We had no where a crowd like for the partiots game last time around. Ive been sick this morning so I slept through the second half of the game. Atleast we fought to the end. Meanwhile The Titans on the verge of being embarassed by green bay 55-7  :o

Since I am now deep in my Communications degree, Ive learned alot about Journalism, particularly the online format. Most stories now I just read and say "whatever". It makes no sense "An anonymous sources said they heard from anonymous source that told somebody who might worked for the Jaguars that said that Tebow is coming town to play."

I do not about yall, but I like Henne at QB. When you give him the keys and let them go no huddle, they are really on fire. Even if hes not the long term answer, I think he will be a good door stop. Also, Jordan shipley is good. I was hoping he could bounce back from that knee injury he had, and he did. I think we should keep him around next season. And good bless Jason Babin... Probably one of the best mid season pick up weve ever had. He has added life to our defensive front.

And a word on Tebow...... (LOL)... IF he does come to Jax, he will not be a QB. Even when we tried to aquire him, they stated he would have a role on the team, and quiet as its kept thats why he went to NY because he wanted to play QB. Nobody ever stated he would be our QB if he came here. And at this point I think could would get him just to sell tickets and have him on the roster, but he wont play QB. I mean seriously, even if we had a QB competition, Henne and Gabbert would run circles around him. After a diasterous season, Khan knows the fans are hanging by a thread and it wouldnt be wise to roll the dice on QB, especially someone whose proven they dont have what it takes.

The most heartbreaking loss of the season. I hate to say this but that last penalty on the 1 yard line is where we lost it. If we lose Shorts we are doomed for the near future.
It has been the  year of the mistakes and injuries.

You do realize the near future is only one more game right? Even if hes out its not going to make that big of a difference at this point. More than likely he's probably has another concussion. He has the entire off season to rest and get well if thats the case. Not a huge concern there.
