I live in 5 Points and drive/walk through it maybe 6 times a day. Not sure what "Spot 5" is....never seen it nor heard of it. Will take a walk there in a few minutes and take a look.

Saw it last night, coming back from the pub crawl.  Looks like a new restaurant/bar that will be opening very soon.

The map on their Facebook page isn't very precise, but this is the space on the 5PTS strip formerly occupied by Nest Living, in the Theatre Building to the right of Tasti-D-Lite. They've been doing interior buildout for months now. It's a small space, but they've installed a full lunch counter across half the dining room, with table seating on the left. I expect it will be similar to Gina's Delicatessen around the corner.

Yep, in theatre building.  We were surprised when we saw it as it looked like their build out was basically done but none of us had heard a peep about it.

On a side note, we ate at tge newly reopened derby and had a great experience.

Poorly conceived idea with little to no marketing behind it. Shame but didn't expect anything else

Why do you say the idea was poorly conceived?  execution perhaps, but a sandwich and beer shop seems a fit.  What do you thin k will work there and more broadly, what needs to be done to revive Park St?  Area seems to be lagging.  What's holding it back.  Comments?

^Probably would have been helpful to have at least a little advertising.  It appears they did none.  I didn't even know it existing until I read about it in this month's Resident.  By the time I read about it it had already closed (guess I missed this thread talking about it :))
