QuoteWork is finally under way, and San Marco is getting closer to having its first brewery.
Aardwolf Brewing got its building permit the week before last for $300,000 worth of renovations to the old tile building at 1461 Hendricks Ave.

Things are looking up in 32207.  I think 2013 is going to be a good year.  Lots of stuff going in on Hendricks, the riverwalk potentially getting redone, a new interchange and improved connectivity at I-95/Atlantic may spur new development (maybe get East San Marco back on the table).

^ I sure hope so...that would be fantastic. San Marco has needed a kick for over a decade. Would love to see St. Joe start construction, too. Publix??

any ideas when the panera and urban flats are supposed to open, looks slow.

dougskiles

Urban Flats was a false rumor.

Panera should start very soon.  Waiting on permit approval.

And I agree that things are looking very good for San Marco.

I was talking to the owner's of our soon to be newest restaurant in the Square, Maple Street Biscuit Company.  They are going into the old Black Bean/Moes space and HAVE MOVED THE GREASE TRAP OUTSIDE!!!  Which means no more nasty smell.

They will be focusing on breakfast and lunch.  The owners are Scott Moore and Gus Evans.

interesting news about  Maple Street Biscuit Company

ben says

Uhm...

Who the F are these people and why is Maple Street using them as a supplier verses a Bold Bean, or even a Condaxis?

Looks like they support American's for Prosperity....

Odd for a coffee company to be so political, and for a new startup in San Marco to "proudly" buy from them...

Perhaps you should wait for them to open, before arbitrarily deciding not to patronize them?

Didn't see it mentioned on their Facebook page. Where are they advertising they are serving that coffee?

I checked out the coffee company's website. Scary. Pretty much guarantees I won't eat at the Maple Street Biscuit Company if they serve that coffee, though.*

*edit: if they actually do serve it.

While were just discussing random San Marco Businesses; anybody know anything new about the Grape and Grain Exchange?

Condaxis sold out and is no more.

The original owner sold, but they're still in business. Looking for a new manager now to expand their brand.
