Beer Thirty?

Anyone know about the place next to Pele's on King Street (I think where Hammer Hall was) that has a sign up that says, Beer Thirty Coming Soon?  Is it going to be a bar, or just a store to buy beer?

Beer store, I think. Good news, Grassroots can't hold up the whole city by itself!
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Fantastic.. the moment they start carrying Founders, I'm pounding down the door.

I smiled when I read this. Grassroots is killing it with selection. Now that they have wine, they're a goldmine.

It's kind of a package store that will sell craft beer.  The two guys opening it are pretty friendly.

Best news ever. RA is becoming a HAVEN for the  discerning beer drinker.

Is this going in Hammer Hall's actual space??  Did they close??  They always seemed to be busy.

While I probably will or would never have gone in there, I liked having Hammer Hall at Park & King.  It was an interesting crowd who were all pretty nice.  I often see them at Carmines.  You can tell by the ironic Star Wars or video game t-shirts.

Hammer Hall moved.  I believe they are in the strip mall in Murray Hill off of Plymouth.  Same strip as where the Five Star Pizza is.

Don't forget a haven for public urination and spew monkeys.  We might add a few automobiles to the mix as well.

I am looking forward to this place. I walked by with my dogs last night and the sign said they were opening in May. Not that I would expect them to have much of a buildout, but the place is pretty much empty so if they have stuff to do they need to get on it

I  know the guys opening Beer:30 and have the latest scoop:  Grand Opening is tomorrow, June 1st. Open from 11am-2am. There's going to be a killer sale on all 3 Intuition brews (6-packs of Jon Boat, People's Pale, and I10 IPA).  It's a package store, make your own 6-pack, weekly specials / beers of the month kind of place.  Find them on facebook for the latest on tomorrow's events: https://www.facebook.com/Beer30jax .. oh, and spread the word!

Should say the address is 1271 King Street (a couple doors down from Pele's)

Cheers!

I have been creeping around looking in the windows for the last couple weeks when walking my dogs. Really excited about the place. I will be going tomorrow to make my first of many purchases.

We're excited to welcome our new neighbors! Best of luck with the grand opening!
