^^^Well said. You're preaching to the choir concerning Marcedes; I ripped him on PFT so many times, I lost track LOL; In speaking of PFT, and the Vikes (I agree, I'll be pissed if we don't beat them) Sh*t just got real concerning their stadium situation, 2012 is the last year at that dump, so barring a miracle, they are destined for a one-way trip to La La Land.

I feel really bad for them. That is the only NFL team in that state and they are NOT trying to help them at all. If Im not mistaken there are not asking for any money from public and I think the NFL is also throwing in some cash and they still wont approve it. That is awful man.
That's not even close to accurate. There were two different serious proposals, both of which would cost over $500 million in taxpayer dollars. Considering they've recently built a $500 million+ baseball stadium, who can blame them?

It's another example of the sports monopoly bilking taxpayers who have supported them through thick and thin for 50 years.

You consider Oakland part of a brutual strecth?

Until the Jags actually win a game on the West Coast, yes. As of late, they have been playing like complete CRAP out there, I can't even remember the last time we won out there on the left coast. Don't overlook that game, trust me.

All those west coast blowouts were with Del Rio and Garrard. I'm willing to give the team the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the trip to Oakland. That, and the Raiders will be terrible next year. Their new GM had to come in and clean up the cap mess that Al Davis left. That roster is depleted.

Thats why I said I "think". I have read several stories about it and couldnt remember the details.

One more day till Gene Smith makes us all go "huh??" :) I was happy to hear they've been asking about Blackmon though. I still prefer Floyd over him though.

Anyone going out to the Town Center for the Draft Party?

Yeah I will be there.  I get off at six and will head over.

On a side note, Khan still has trouble brewing about that Plant of his in Michigan. Ex workers and concerned citizens are supposed to be coming to New York tomorrow. They basically want to tell Khan's daddy (NFL) that he is a boogey man. What that is supposed to resolve I have no clue. On thing about the NFL, nothing is a secret especially when you are asking to be an owner. They dig into your financial and everything else on the map. ITs big news up in the Detroit, but has not really made news anywhere else. He does need to get that cleaned up. But I try not to make statements about it because I dont know the full story. MY friend from Detroit call me this morning and said " The showed his picture on the news, he's a "unique" looking guy. I bet that mustache is just as contaminated as the plant he owns. " I had to laugh!  ;D

Yeah I woke up this morning and realized I haven't seen his yacht parked outside for the past week or so. Maybe he's off dealing with that or in NYC.

Man Justin Blackmon is one ugly turd. If we get him, he must keep his helment on at all times, including press conferences. GOD he is hideous. But hey as long as he plays lights out, I can deal with it. LOL

If that was the case, we should have never drafted Reggie, all he did was smile and act like a thug. He sucked as a football player. I don't care if we put the ugliest SOB on the field, just so long as we win.

I so hate the phrase "act like a thug". What exactly is that anyway? Thugs rob, shoot and murder people. I don't think any of the present or past Jaguars players fit that term.

LOL! You obviously don't remember the R. Jay Soward days.....ask his neighbors on the Southside, they'll tell you he brough the LA Ghetto with him.

I doubt anyone in an upscale Southside neighborhood has ever been to a 'ghetto' in L.A. Unless you're trying to use 'ghetto' to describe something else.

Soward from what I recall was just a bust. A druggie and an alcoholic. That's how he ended up in rehab and out of the league. Again, not a thug. The worst things any Jag player has done to this point is get caught with or using drugs. So if anything people should be petitioning the team not to draft addicts.

All you did is repeat what I  justsaid. I said he was ugly as hell but as long as he plays lights out it was okay with me. What was the point of your reply seriously?  ::)

I'll call my buddy Gene and have him get right on that! Can't say any of us saw that coming.

Doesn't appear that his looks are hurting him too bad.
