It makes too much sense for it not to happen.  Not only is BB a huge Gator fan with personal ties to Urb, there would be ZERO QB controversy.  Tebow is McDaniel's pick  -now back in NE.  And yes, the TE joke could end up being seriously considered.

BB isn't a huge Gator fan. He's buddies with Meyer and the two of them turned UF into a NE pipeline. Prior to Meyer coming to UF, BB had no ties to UF.

BTW, I wasn't in any way advocating for trading picks for Tebow. I don't want him at all.

I just think we will learn a lot about Khan from how he handles the whole thing. Will he be focused more on winning or on selling jerseys and making money? If he gives up early picks, we know the answer. If he plays hardball or doesn't cave in, then he's in it to win.

Yeah we cant afford to give up early picks. We still have needs that have to be met ASAP. And to scarifice early pics for a QB with a 47% QB rating doesnt sound like logical sense. Gene and Khan are very level headed. They'll make the right decision

I didn't mean anything beyond his friendship with Urb.  You stated it more clearly.

I-10east

They are going crazy with the dumb 'Tebow to Jax or Miami' crap on the NFL Network, and PFT. I hope that the Broncos decide to keep him so this dumb Tebow talk can just go away.

I actually find it funny. They try to make the "Jags trade for Tebow" crap to make sense and it really doesnt. I guess that is part of their jobs. Some of those stories are SOOO stupid

Yes, my fish are screwed with the bunch of clowns running the front office down there.  They'd be better off going with Matt Moore as the starter and using free agency and the draft to shore up the OL and WR positions.  Outside of Manning, Moore is probably on the same level as Flynn and definitely better than Tebow unless the plan is to run a wishbone offense.  Btw, I heard Miami is going to be covering up empty seats down there this year as well.  With the Heat and Marlins rising in popularity, the Dolphins are no longer than metro's top professional sports franchise.

Garrard?
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I'm sure they'll come up with the same tired line used for LA.  Too many things to do than just attend sporting events.

I hope not.  However, I'd take him as a back up.

I just read it on the Miami Herald. They better ask wayne weaver, reducing the capacity solves nothing. It takes effective marketing and/or pricing to get tickets sold. And winning of course. I will say I feel the Jags have the one best marketing in the league now. They truely stepped outside the box and started to get creative and that is the only reason our attedance has stablizied the past three years. Not to mention the city pulling together.  Using Tim Tebow gimmicks and covering up seats will not solve the problem for the phins. And people thought we had it bad, I would strecth to say the have a worse staff than we did under WW and JDR. I think the fin fan base is just tired and aggravated. I am actually glad Khan bought our team, because Im not sure where were headed
