I'm also really happy to see people who don't usually get into soccer supporting the match here-- and to all of them, a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU! I have a friend who can't get over the concept of extra time who bought a deck of four seats. Really cool.

I friend of mine told me today that a Scottish contingent has already purchased ~2,000. I anticipate that there will be a good turnout based on the chatter that I've seen lately.

That's awesome. They will bring a lot of money to Jax and to our state. I'd imagine most of them plan to go to the game and then hit up Orlando and/or South Florida. Since the game won't sell out, a lot of Scots will probably decide to come last minute too.

Got my 8. Anyone have a prediction on attendance? I'm thinking ~29-35k. It doesn't appear that the upper decks are initially on sale either.

I didn't realize that the average MLS stadium only holds~20,000. If you look at the league footprint now, the Southeast is COMPLETELY omitted.

I hear that there will be a monster truck show at halftime and that Daughtry will be signing the National Anthem in order to boost attendance.

Ohh and Clint Dempsey just scored to put the US up 1-0 over Italy at Italy. This is the worst Italy has been in a long time, but they are still an upper tier European team.
