This is why MJ is awesome. Great response and resolution. People are people and everyone forgets or makes mistakes every now and then and while the initial encounter wasn't handled all that well, it's great that everything is getting settled now.

This story solidifies my choice of not paying up front for discounts.  If I have a (free) coupon, I ask if it's valid before I order.  If it's not, I adjust my order according to what I can afford without the coupon.   Although this was satisfactorily resolved, it could have been an instance of the buyer purchasing a fake discount.

Everything worked out well then. I had to toe the line very carefully on this one considering it's one of my favorite places to frequent vs what my lady felt was wrong. We wanted to confirm that the coupon was valid and it is.

Different restaurant, but I've all but given up on using the Subway coupons I get in the mail.

They are denied every single time I try to use them.

What a great story. Metrojacksonville rocks. I enjoyed Carmines. And props to Folio as well.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

glad the issue got solved, but I am surprised the owner would handle it that way.  doesn't seem very smart to tell customers that you have enough...
