Are you being serious about us being competetive? The Browns are a bottom feeder in their division and they looked great against us. Do you really think we would be competetive against say The Packers, or the Patriots, or the 49ers?

We have some serious issue and for all intents and purposes our season is over. These next six games are completely meaningless. What a waste of a season. JDR has obviously phones it in knowing he is gone. Kuetter is  absoultely terrible at play calling, and time management for the whole team is an issue almost every single game.

I am sorry, I feel badly for anyone who has season tickets. I know it is cicvic duty and pride to own them and all, but you have the unenviable task of sitting through three more completely meaningless games, that will most likely be blacked out. It may as well be preseason again. I guess you can try to see if receivers drop fewer passes or see if Gabbart improves, but that is hardly worth going to a game to watch.

This was actually a very good game. Gabby just made a bad choice. I chopped that up as a rookie mistake. He wont forget this one for sure.  However, he was very comfortable and made some good passes. I was very happy with him. But it was a very competitve and physical game. Cleveland and Jacksonville were a perfect match up. Lewis is finally cacthing the ball and I like the Jared Dillard and  Chastin West combo. I think we need to play them more.

I am just shocked were are even competitve at this point. We have the most injuried players in the NFL right now and we are still managing to stay in these games. I am very excited about next season. We are going to see some good things from the offensive.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-6

Jacksonville Jaguars 3-7

Miami Dolphins 3-7

Obviously, there's still much to play for.  There's a huge race to see who sucks the least in Florida.  ???

Considering you revel in taunting everyone on the board whenever the Jaguars lose, I'm not quite sure where you get off using "we" here.

QuoteWith a better coach the team would have won today.

Not picking on you DD and no offense to anyone else, it's frustrating to lose, but it's time for me to vent.  Not about the Jags, but about some of the misguided comments around here.

What did Jack Del Rio have to do with Jason Hill dropping a touchdown pass in his chest to win the game?  Or the defense missing tackles and constantly being out of position?

At work today and already I have heard 'Tim Tebow is a way better quarterback than Blaine Gabbert, who did Blaine Gabbert even play in college?'.

And then this from I-10 East up above 'Mike Thomas- We love ya last year for the miracle hail mary and all, just he gots to go; I can get on the field and have the same effect.'

Tebow can't hit the broad side of a barn, Gabbert played in this conference called the Big 12... you know Texas, Oklahoma, small schools with no NFL talent like that... and I gotta feeling that I-10 East would get cut from some recreational flag football teams in this city.

This isn't the Jags year, but c'mon... maybe people should think before they speak.

Is Hills defense, I dont think he dropped that past. The Defender got there at the same time as the ball ans stripped it. He had no hopes of holding on to that ball. And we must remember the Browns Defense is in the top five just as ours. They do extremely well against the pass. And as far as our D-line, pot roast and mathis being out  has had a huge impact. Pot Roast wasnt there to stop the run and it showed. I hope hes back this week

I am not taunting. We have been the same team since 2008 basically. I am getting tired of excuses and tired of this team in general. Its the same crap year in and year out. Nothing exciting. I unfortunately don't see next year going well either.  A new regime means  a new offensive scheme that BG will have to learn.

That was a knee-jerk reaction by me yesterday.  So sorry if I thought before I spoke.  But after thinking things over I still believe that the fundamental problems for the Jags are play-calling and discipline, problems that go back to who's the coach.

You come out with 50 posts knocking the Jaguars when they lose, disappear when they win, mock season ticket holders, and have misspelled the names of the quarterback and offensive coordinator repeatedly.  And as demonstrated in the Tebow thread, you don't know what the team's record is.  I'm sure you care deeply about the Jaguars' success.  There are plenty like you in Jacksonville, who think that mocking the hometown team is the trendy thing to do.  I'm sure you're feeling great about yourself today.

I am so glad you are going over all my stats. I honestly had know idea I was spelling Blayn Gibbert or Derk Cutters name wrong. I will try to correct that. Tell ya what. I will post about their next win if that makes you feel better.

Seriously, is no one allowed to bash on a crappy team? Are we supposed to just say, "Oh Well, there is always next year," and just ignore the fact that this entire season has been a complete waste? A bad team brings this all on themselves. Did you see all the empty seats at the Browns game? No one carres about them either. Would you rather no one cares? At least we are talking about how terrible they are.

Oh, and by the way. I was at the inaugural game against the Oilers. I was also there when we beat Miami in the playoffs 62-7, I believe the score was. Have I ever been a season ticket holder? No, but I have supported this team throughout the years.

I know I'm late on this but M80 isn't going anywhere. The Jags just gave him an extension a few months ago. If you recall last year Mike was more of a number 2 or slot option, not playing the #1 WR. That was Mike Sims Walker's position. Mike Thomas will be fine as a slot receiver, but to that note, we don't have anyone close to being a number 1 or 2 WR on the team. I wouldn't be mad to see all of those guys gone next season. Spend some money upgrading the offense like we upgraded the defense if there's talent out there. The Jags really should have gone after Brandon Lloyd when the Broncos gave him up for a 6th rounder. He's playing better than all of our WR's even though he's playing with a backup QB in St. Louis right now.

IMO Jack, Dirk and Gene need to go. The only person that has performed well on the coaching staff has been Mel Tucker. This is the first season since he's been here that he's had full control of the defense and look how well they've played.

*I'm a season ticket holder btw. Section 147*

don't forget the awesomeness that is college football in Florida this year too!

Yeah people would be lying if they say they'd rather watch the Gators play this year. They are just as bad.

Hey Mr. Literal, you're right I couldn't go 3 for 23 in a NFL game, and I'll most likely get cut from organized flag football teams around Jax; What I can do is run around the field and get blanketed by a cornerback like Mike Thomas does seemly on a consistent basis; He hardly even get FIRST DOWNS never the less TD's. I hafta compare Thomas's decline (from last year to this year) similar to Marcedes Lewis's(although Lewis had a good game vs CLE)
BTW Oh yeah, I guess that JDR isn't responsible for that bad clock management, and Koetter's awful play calling.

I genuinely believe that with a new coaching staff, better play calling, and few more games of experience under Gabbert's belt, we're looking at a 10-6 team next year.

I haven't seen any stats so I'm just going off of what I've seen, but I think Jason Hill has been great this year. I think he's better than Mike Thomas. Jason Hill has been the reason for a lot of our yards and first downs. There were mistakes from everybody in that last drive.

I tend to agree with you about Hill being better than Thomas this year; Like you said atleast Hill gets first downs on a regular basis. Although I must say, yesterday that disasterous drop in the endzone was reminisent of Northcutt in the NE game; Bottom line, Hill lost that game moreso than anyone else.
