My sympathies to the victim's friends/family, but I didn't know him. Again, I don't think anyone is happy a guy died, but I don't see where anyone is really being disrespectful either.

I think you have made your point and I think SM and I get it (not speaking for him) but it doesnt change the fact that OP made a cursory mention of the death in the title and then made the post about bad reporting, for a second thread about a murder.  Just seems like an odd trend on the board.
