According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a maintenance worker found the man in a car this morning at the Centennial Townhomes West on Broad Street.

Police do not believe the man was a resident at the apartments, but the investigation is continuing.

Police do not know how long the man was in the car, a black Chevrolet Impala.

The man's identity has not been released, as police are searching for next of kin to notify.

I'm sorry I thought the title of this thread was "Man found dead in car..." but I guess I could have been mistaken.

yes, and then it was a link with a question of whether or not this was springfield.  some of us were answering that question.  there was no desire to belittle the death of a person.
