Sounds great. I am glad we dont open with the Colts again. Cant remember when the Jags won their opener.

As of today the Jags are 61% of the way to the blackout avoidance number (50,957 general bowl tickets).  31,168 season tickets have been renewed or sold.  19,789 remain to be sold.

^It may allow them to trade John Henderson for more picks.

I don't go to the games for the players, I go there for the team. Remember that and the impact they have locally. Nothing can fill that void if it leaves. Nothing.

Let's not forget that gauge does not reflect the 8000 in group sales as weaver mentioned. So the number is actually around 11,789. As long as we keep selling like this until august, we will avoid all black outs. (thank God)

I love the team, GO JAGS!!! The pick itself wasn't the most exciting, but the best.  "Daddy, daddy, can we please get a horse?  No son, I know what's best, here's a dog"  Trust them on this.  FYI, Alualu sacked Tebow in the senior bowl, he's just as passionate as Tebow, we just don't see him, being on the west coast.

that first round pick won't excite many people

Wins will though. The Jaguars are building a football team not a fan club.

I am sure last yr picks didnt either, until we saw what they could do. Gene said he not trying to win a popularity contest, he's trying to win games.

You can add me to the list of new season ticket holders!  Woo!

My wife & I went down to the stadium for Saturday's choose-your-seat event.  A buddy of mine bought an adjoining seat, so knock 3 off the number of tickets that need to be sold. :D

We're psyched for the season.

As of today the Jags have sold or renewed 34,159 season tickets.  They need to sell 15,123 (8000 of these expected to be sold through group sales) to get to the blackout avoidance number of 50,957.  They are 67% of the way there.

7,123 more tickets to sell, come on we can do it.

P.S. Should of drafted Tebow, then I can bet that those 7,123 tickets would of been sold by now. Heck there is 50,000 students in UF alone, that could buy tickets to see their football god.
