This fire wasn't human error, whether or not the authorities will end up making an arrest or not (and arson is extremely difficult to make arrests and convict) this was not an error by no means.

Hey Sprigfielder, I went by this house yesterday to get a look. This is not the same house that burned a couple of months ago. This is the one on the corner. This house was being used as a rooming house. There was always a bunch of people hanging around on the porch.. That means that all 3 buildings on that corner have burned in the last 2 years.. There was a fire across the street about 3-4 months ago that burned another occupied home and touched the vacant one next to it..  The rescue truck was going to this building regularly also.. Definitely smelling fishy over there...
Yankees suck!! Yankees suck!! Yankees suck!!

That's exactly what I'm talking about...and I've heard that it was drug related, and somehow the owners wife's boyfriend is involved in this...but of course, that's just hearsay from some neighbors

The neighbors usually know what's going on..

apologies for my smarmy vagueness, brought on partly by having recently watched 2001:  a space odyssey.  by 'human error' i mean 'arson'.

yesterday must have been demolishing day on the far east side of Springfield, one one the corner of Ionia and 7th and the other at the corner of Ionia and 4th, I believe.

Springfielder

so the other one wasn't on 6th as someone said, but on 7th? Was this the one that burned last week?

fsujax

it was one that had burned, big two story.

Springfielder

Yeah, I went by today and that's the one....don't know why it came down though, it could have been repaired. This is happening way too much.

I wonder where SPAR was when two more demolitions of contributing structures were taking place?

How much time and effort got spent on that retarded car wash appeal?

(and yes, SPARbarians, we know the drill, so you can skip the standard "it wasn't officially SPAR..." lecture)

Kids.............if the SPAR Council spent half of the effort trying to save some of the Historic Homes that they have trying to shoot Mr Silas and his Car Wash down.............some of those might have been saved! They keep forgetting just what their name and mandate is..............silly people!
