Even if you don't do the home tour you should drive around and check out the decorations. I hear the 400 block of East 3rd st is looking pretty good this year!

fsu813

Oh yea?

Well I heard the 200 block of E. 7th was going to be the best.....

So what are you gonna do about it?

Last year, Hubbard St. was very pretty - looked just like I'd stepped back into the 1940s.  (around that school, Mattie V)

For all the people that frequent this site.  Attend this tour.  Meet the residents.  As a resident since June 2008 it is great place to live.  This tour is sponspered by the Springfield Womens Club.

How does this work? Does it all start at one place and led as a tour, or are you free to go house to house during that time? I would be interested in going tonight but I probably couldn't make it until 6.

Unrelated note, all the fsu usernames confuse me.  Especially when all 3 post almost consecutively.  At least the UF names have some variety.

This year it starts at 3rd and Main, but there will be buses/vans running the entire evening.  There's usually a map provided...you are free to get on and off the bus at your leisure, or drive yourself, or walk (sometimes the locations are clustered together).  6pm will leave you plenty of time.  Hope you can make it!

Thanks for the info Hooplady. I think my girlfriend and I are going to go over to Three Layers and make a decision about the tour there based upon how the weather holds up.
