Went on the home tour last night at 7pm, it was an all night event. Finished up about 11pm (though you i'm sure could go much quicker if you like).

This was my first year and I was quite suprised.......actually nicer than I expected, and more people than I expected (especially with the foul weather).

Met lots of people, saw lots of stunning homes and yards.

My 2 favorites were 215 E. 7th & one of the houses on Perry (on the right, i think).

And of course, the business converted into private residence on Market was ridiculously amazing.

Well worth the tickets to see all the different & unique homes (free cookies, hot coco, and wine too)

It was a good turn out, in spite of the weather and I hope tonight will be just as good...if not better. I had a great time volunteering at the Womens club, that's where you get to meet everyone on the tour, and get to brag about how great our neighborhood is

Many thanks to everyone who attended the tour this year. I thought it was one of the best ever because of the diversity of the homes...large homes, one story bungalow, adaptive reuse, old construction and new construction. It really showcased the variety of what types of homes are available here.  And the Woman's Club looked great too.  The tour committee, led by Sharlene, did an amazing job.

Wish I could have been there; nothing like a North Florida home tour in Jax on a crisp late fall evening!  I'll bet you could smell the smell of wood burning too in the air (which happens in Jax in the winter). I sure miss it.
